Ways to help
If you cannot afford to help financially, we can always use any personal skills/attributes you may have, such as book-keeping, writing flair, people organisational skills, construction skills, gardening or animal experience etc. Please contact us on enquire.huha@gmail.com; we would love to hear from you!
Making a Donation
You can donate to HUHA in whichever way suits you. You can donate using internet banking, our official Givealittle page, via PayPal, or even send us a cheque.

Help Rebuild HUHA!
We have huge news, it’s a mix of sad and exciting … but we are focusing on the exciting!
Our much loved Otaki Shelter that currently houses 50 homeless dogs and 10 homeless horses is due to be bulldozed. We have bought land and are currently working through the resource consent process, but the big ask is that we need help from everyone – individuals, companies, corporates, groups and families – we need you all to help us build a new HUHA.
Let’s build a HUHA that we can all be proud of and one that will last so future generations can continue our vision to change animal welfare expectations in New Zealand. With all of your help, we are leading by example and it is undeniable HUHA community, together we are saving lives!!
