Lolly has been on quite a journey.
She was running scared for many weeks, living in the bush. The locals tried to catch her but she was just too scared. When we first saw Lolly, she was weaving frantically through traffic, thirsty, terrified and lost.
We know that everyone trying to help her was so worried for her and luckily she was caught and through the help of Animal Control in Porirua, Lolly made her way to us.
Lolly is special. She is timid and takes a while to build her trust in you, but once she does she is the happiest, most loving, fun, cuddly, loyal and devoted dog you will ever meet. We are unsure of how and why she got so lost and scared but we do know she ADORES children and that is her happy place. However, we will only rehome her to an experienced home with older kids that are used to dogs in their life.
Lolly loves snuggling in for cuddles, going for walks and she is slowly learning that the wider world and the people around her are not so bad. Lolly is still on her recovery journey. She is a dog that will worry about new things; she will need you to be her confidence, her teacher and her love. She is worth it.
If you think you may have the experience, patience and love to give Lolly the security, love and home she needs, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or ring us on 021-2255-928.
Lolly is roughly 18 months old and a medium-sized x breed (possibly collie/staffy).
